A hall dedicated entirely to rebuilding and reconditioning engines will be featured at Autopromotec, to be held in Bologna, Italy from May 20 to 24, 2009. The feature is the result of a renewed collaboration between Promotec and FIR (Italian Federation of Engine Rebuilders).
The engine rebuilding and reconditioning segment is being discovered in many countries as a result of the increase in the costs of road circulation. For this reason, the need has arisen to showcase this sector more effectively at the next Autopromotec 2009, a specialized international trade exhibition dedicated to the automotive aftermarket, to take place in its traditional venue of Bologna, Italy, next spring.
An entire hall of the fairgrounds, Hall 21, will be dedicated to the companies and equipment involved in this segment. Numerous companies in the segment were present in past editions of Autopromotec, however they were placed within the different product groups exhibited, according to organizers: garage equipment, spare parts or diagnostic instruments.
In 2009, for the first time, visitors will be able to observe in one setting the technological trends of the sector, which is seeing renewed interest in ecological issues and in savings and serves as the basis for a new resurgence.
All engines can be rebuilt or reconditioned according to need, starting with motorcycle engines right through to heavy vehicles, working machines and industrial engines, state organizers.
